From the Brasso Seco Junction, this hike starts all along great dirt terrain which is undulating throughout. A fantastic trail that will definitely tell you about your true fitness condition, more so on the return leg which ironically is the same trail that takes you to the waterfall. The trail will eventually bring you up a hill that will test your fitness level. The Madamas River will soon be in sight and a bit of river trekking will eventually lead to the destined point, "MADAMAS WATERFALL".
Distance covered from Brasso Seco Junction to the Waterfall is 7.3 miles (11.7 kms) (one way). Maximum elevation we will be is 807 feet ( 246 meters).
Start of the hike at Brasso Seco Junction, elevation is 486 feet ( 148.1 meters)
At Double Rivers Junction, elevation is 558 feet ( 170.1 meters)
At the start of the river trek to the waterfall, elevation is 423 feet ( 129 meters)
At Madamas Waterfalls, elevation is 492 feet ( 150 meters)

Enjoy the natural, untouched rain-forest along the way as we near the waterfall.Swim in the great river basin at the waterfall.
Wear long/short trousers with long/short sleeve tops. No sleeveless please.
Wear hiking shoes/trainers with good grips under the soles. No slippers or sandals please.
Use a backpack. By so doing you keep your hands totally free.
Bring along mosquito repellent.
Bring a change of clothing which will be left in the vehicles.
Cameras and mobile phones can be bought along as absolutely no swimming is required and therefore, all your items in your backpack will remain dry throughout the trek.
Bring along generous supply of water and light snacks and sandwiches.
Be prepared to get your hiking shoes wet along the way as we must RIVER TREK to get to the waterfall. If you prefer, bring along an extra pair of shoes specifically for river trekking.
