Lalaja Road to Aripo Village

Details

Phase 1 -: Trek through country forest on a splendid terrain. Enjoy the ambience, refreshing breeze and exotic environment on this challenging hike. Extend yourself both physically and mentally moving from one village to another.

The trek begins on Lalaja Road, which is just off Arima/Blanchisseuse Road.  A combination of uphill and downhill hiking creates an excitement before the steep downhill trek to an abandoned orchard. In the forest encounter a "T" junction and continue on a narrow but clear trail, for about an hour or more depending on the pace of the group, before arriving at Guanapo Quarry

Phase 2-: Walk along a quarry road onto a wide dirt road then downhill across  stunning Guanapo River onto another trail. Follow this path along undulating terrain. Walk a few miles on a paved road to the Community Center of Aripo Village. Bravo.....you did it!!!
