The trail we will be trekking along is no longer in use by any hiking clubs in Trinidad. Come and let us make use to experiencing this phenomenal experience. We take the "El Cerro de Las Cuevas" Bench Road which once upon a time was a busy thoroughfare by our ancestors getting them from Maracas St. Joseph to as far as Rincon Village, localed in the Las Cuevas region along the North Coastal part of Trinidad. 

This trail is an undulating trail throughout our trek from start all the way to the hidden gem of a waterfall deep in the forest from little known "Zorro Village", located just before the more popular village of Rincon. We trek through firstly abandoned cocoa estates along the way which will eventually taper off into natural rainforest as we approach the summit of our main trail. From the summit, is all the way downhill every step of the way once again through natural rainforest until we come up to another abandoned cocoa estate which signals that we are approaching our destination. You will certainly know when we are there as you will eventually hear in the distance the sounds of the waterfall of Angel. We will have to be mindful that the water at this waterfall is extremely cold as we are quite deep in the forest, but bathing here is so ever refreshening. Ropes will be placed in places to ensure of your safety as you meander along the slippery rocks to get to the actual waterfall.

On the return trek, we take the same route how we came back to our parked vehicles.
