 DETAILS OF THE TREK

"LOOP TRAIL" meaning that the official start of the trail is also the finishing point taking a completely different trail ultimately giving you the opportunity in enjoying the trail without seeing it twice. A mixture of uphill, flat and downhill terrain all the way and of course, a level of fitness is highly recommended to partake. Our trail runs parallel to the well-known "El Tucuche Mountain" into an old abandoned cocoa estate that is now forested all the way to our half way point which is at "THE CROSS", the official base of El Tucuche. At this point, we take a completely different trail that will loop us around. On this trail, beautiful views of Maracas Beach is afforded while you make your way to the summit of another well-known "LOANGO HILL". At this point, a steep descent has to be completed which will ultimately lead us right back to the "Trail Head" which is where the hike officially started. Soft refreshments will be served at the end of the hike.

Trekkers, it is highly recommended that your fitness condition is good in order to embark on this trek. You have to be honest with yourself if you are looking to partake in this event. This trek entails quite a bit of constant uphill trekking, though the uphills are not steep, it is the consistency of the uphills that must be taken into consideration. Be warned kindly.
