Details

The trek officially starts off from Sam's Bar where we head onwards to "Bogoville". We trek through this village towards the mountain where eventually we are in complete nature as we start our uphill trek all the way to the summit. Average trekking time from the start to the summit should take us about 1 hour. At the summit, we veer off the main trail and take another route that will carry us to the summit of little known "La Vigie Hill-East". This route is the toughest when coming to uphills which is easily the toughest part of the walk. At the summit of La Vigie- East, we get a reprieve where it is now a steady downhill trek all the way until we are at the top of the well known "Loango Hill". From here, only downhill trekking awaits us, but we must be careful at this point as the downhill is very steep at certain parts. At the bottom of Loango Hill, welcome to "Grand Fond Village" where from here, we are on the homestretch right back to where we started the trek at Sam's Bar.
