DETAILS

A trek of a difference. We start off from the top of "Tucker Valley Road", that is, the road taking you straight to Macqueripe Bay. We take a nature trail from the start that will eventually lead us to the popular "Morne St. Catherine Road". From the road, we take a very short road walk until we come onto a trail to our right that was cleared away by the cycling community. From this trail, it is a very continuous trek all the way uphill until we eventually reach to the beginning of the gruesome "Archer's Hill"......now trtekkers, we must always be aware of any cyclist(s) coming downhill. Once we hear them, we MUST give way for them to pass on through before proceeding. Anyway, back onto the Mount St. Catherine Road, a short trek onto the final uphill where we take a short break by the renowned "Morne Catherine Ball" before we proceed.

From the Ball, we veer right onto a natural trail that leads us all the way downhill all the way for the next hour or so until we eventually come onto the popular "Macqueripe Trail" from the golf course which is actually the signal that we are almost complete. From this trail, an uphill trek will eventually bring us onto the ridge where gorgeous vistas of the Caribbean Sea and the actual Macqueripe Beach is within our grasp. Voila......our trek is complete when we eventually emerge at Macqueripe Car Park.
