DETAILS:

The earlier we start our trek, the better it will ultimately be for all of us. After parking our vehicles in a secured location at "Marianne Beach Resort", we start our 2 - 2.5 hour trek all along undulating terrain that is a combination of gravel road trekking for the first hour, and then forest trail trekking all the way to Paria Bay. Beautiful vistas in various parts of our trek along the way with (1) stop off at the popular "Turtle Rock" that affords both fantastic views of the beautiful Caribbean Sea in all her splendour, together with the untouched and rugged coastline, plus great photo opportunities.

Upon arrival at Paria Bay, the majestic "Paria Arch", also known as "Cathedral Rock" stands before you......another great stop off for photo opportunities before we proceed along the shoreline of Paria that will lead us onto another trail where a short 20 minute trek in the forest will eventually lead us to the low keyed "Paria Waterfall" with its fantastic swimpool that is ideal for swimming or even a soak.

We depart the waterfall at a respectable time in order to reach back to our vehicles in good time. We take the same trail that brought us in, back out.
