Hollis Reservoir Water-Steps

Hollis Reservoir Water-Steps

Details

Best time for this hike: January - December

Welcome to the tiny village of Aripo.

The hike is rated extreme because the trail is a definite test of mind, body and spirit. This trek uphill "Mount Poui Road" is truly an introduction of things to come. At the summit, trek into Aripo forest  all the way to waterfalls on a constant uphill and downhill  trail.

On this long trail, the journey is almost complete when "Hollis Reservoir" comes into view. Walk five minutes more to view the first majestic water step and continue further to another water-step that possesses a beauty of its own. Wallow in this atmosphere!!!
