Turure Water Steps
Best time for this hike: July to December
Rating of this hike is (3) fair
Turure water steps is truly a sight to behold. Cascading waters, limestone rock formations, exquisite forest and great photo opportunities. This hike is astounding!!! It should be ideally explored "DURING THE RAINY SEASON".
There are (3) stream crossings on this easy, thirty minutes walk. Exercise caution while walking upstream on slippery rocks of the river. On approaching the entrance of Turure Water-steps, be amazed by distinct limestone rocks.
The first Water-step offers a humble waterfall with a small pool that can comfortably accommodate (4) persons at a time. This great shower type fall presents a great opportunity for a therapeutic massage of the shoulders and back.
Walk two (2) minutes upstream, and be wowed by a series of beautiful small pools which are fantastic for having a 'dip', while the majestic second Water-step forms a facade in the background. This Water-step is superb, especially at the top of a huge rock where water simply caresses your entire body.
On the third water step, water cascades down the face of a rock into a small, but very deep 12 feet, pool. On a clear day, this pool is emerald green. Venture to the top and jump into the pool.
The fourth and final Water-step is most attractive.. The width of the rock is about 50-60 feet and it boasts a height of 25 feet. On a rainy day, the entire width of this rock has water pouring down its face into a beautiful pool that can accommodate many people at a time.
The adventurer could hike a further 25 minutes upstream to the tallest Water-step. There natural rock formation is simply dumbfounding.Book Now
