Camping in Trinidad is certainly euphoric. The camper has the unforgettable opportunity to enjoy an abundance of nature's country forest, serenity, waterfalls, beaches and spectacular vistas. This camp-out offers two options. So let's move forward and discuss them.

                                                       Camp-out Option A -:   Matelot to Brasso Village ( 2 nights, 3 days)

                                                                      Total Distance 23.25 ml or 37.50 km

  • First day actually start the hike on Matelot beach to the enchanting Madamas Bay. Trek through spectacular forest and hear  whistling birds on this trail. At the end of this day swim at Madamas River or Beach before settling for the night.

        Distance covered  7 miles (11.25 kms).

  • Second day the hike leaves Madamas Beach to head to the ever popular Paria Bay. Hike along various coastal beaches, such as Grande Tacaribe, Petite Tacaribe Bays and Murphy's Bay and view astounding vistas. Have a refreshing swim at Paria waterfall. Relax and take a good night rest.

        Distance covered 8 miles (13 kms).

  • Third day hike from Paria Bay to Brasso Seco Village. This leg of the hike is truly amazing as this trial leads through untouched natural rain-forest. At the end of this expedition, indulge in a special indigenous country meal prepared by friendly villagers of Brasso Seco before finally departing. An indelible experience!!!

                                       Camp-out Option B -: Blanchisseuse to Brasso Seco Village ( 1 night, 2 days)

                                                                          Total Distance 12.50 ml or 20.25 km

  • First day hike from Blanchisseuse Village to the ever popular Paria Bay. This trail is blessed with lavish treats of nature. Cross small streams, view beautiful vistas of the Caribbean Sea and be embraced by statuesque trees.  Enjoy a well-deserved swim at the waterfall at the end of this day.

        Distance covered  4.25 miles (7 kms).

  • Second day hike from Paria Bay over the Northern Range to Brasso Seco Village. Hike every step through fascinating, untouched rain-forest.  At Brasso Seco Village, enjoy a feast of an indigenous country meal specially prepared by the villagers before finally departing. A satisfying expedition!!!
