Habio - a.k.a. Rincon Waterfall
This hike is rated (5) moderately challenging
A popular trail in Las Cuevas region in the little village known as "Rincon Village". The start of this hike is the most difficult as the trail is quite steep. Once in the forest, the hike becomes easier and we are well shaded every step of the way until we come to "Blackpool".
Continue along the trail once again along great terrain until we reach at the summit (863 feet - 263 meters) where at this point, our descent begins all the way until a very steep descent with the aid of a rope until we are actually at the waterfall (257 feet - 78 meters). Distance covered at this point is (2.2 miles - 3.5 kms) in about 1 hour 10 minutes.
We take another route where downhill trekking makes up most of the trek until we eventually reach our destination. Total distance covered is (4.9 miles - 7.9 kms).
Life jackets will be provided upon request. Ropes and other safety devices will also be on hand.Book Now
