Details of the hike

A great trail throughout our journey.

We start off on a dirt road with great views of the Caribbean Sea along the way.

At the "Round House", we stop off at a beautiful little beach known as "Last Port Bay" for refreshments and a bit of a rest. At this point, 2.4 miles would've been accomplished.

Departing the beach, the forest walk starts. A great mixture of uphills, flat terrain and downhills awaits us. You pace yourself properly and all will be great.

We veer off the trail a bit when we are 75% complete on top of "Turtle Rock" for our second rest stop and what a stop it is. Fantastic views of the rugged coastline and the very secluded "Senna Bay" can be admired from this here rock. At this point as well, we would've covered exactly 4 miles.

A short walk from Turtle Rock and we are at last at Paria Bay. Admire "Cathedral Rock", 4.6 miles, which greets us at Paria. A lovely walk along the beach will lead us to another nature trail that will ultimately bring us to the ever beautiful "Paria Falls".

In all, a total of 5.6 miles would have been covered (one way).
