Details on Tombasson Waterfall

The rating of this hike is (5) moderately challenging

A very nice and clear trail through abandoned cocoa and tonkabean estates we trek through as we enjoy nature undisturbed. A mixture of uphills and downhills throughout our journey until we eventually reach to the Guanapo River.

From here, we take the nearby tributary and trek upstream along slippery rocks and some parts through waist height water all the way until eventually, we hear the sounds of the waterfall beyond us. Welcome.

Departing the waterfall, we take another trail out through untouched forest. Steady uphill trekking until we eventually reach onto the main trail which of course is all the way downhill until we reach to the Guanapo River. We take the same trail how we came in, back out.
